UPFRONT: In the North American television industry, an upfront is a meeting hosted at the start of important advertising sales periods by television network executives, attended by the press and major advertisers. It is so named because of its main purpose, to allow marketers to buy television commercial airtime "up front", or several months before the television season begins.
Bill helmed the TV Guide Network’s Upfront presentations an unprecedented 3 years in a row (2007, 2008, 2009)

"My secret weapon is Bill Lae. He is a wizard when it comes to making anything look like a major Hollywood production. When I first brought in Bill to help us at TV Guide Network, we had little programming to make sales presentations, but he saw this as an opportunity to impress our clients with his magic. He brought a brand new quality to the Network. I started receiving calls like: "How did you do that?" "Wow!" Every year after that, he continued to raise the bar. Accolades and awards are just some of the benefits from working with Bill. The real rewards are his ideas, attitude and energy. He brings it to every project."
